This healthy green immunity smoothie has all of the nutrients and vitamins to make sure you have plenty of energy. It's a quick and easy smoothie that's also rich in iron, folate, calcium and vitamin K; essential nutrients.Â
The combination of mango and spinach creates a super creamy texture that is refreshing at any time of the day, especially first thing in the morning! I love having smoothies like these for breakfast and use my handy food flask to keep it cold when I’m on the go.Â
Tip: For more variety, you can add ingredients such as kiwi fruits, bananas, or almond milk, as they are high in calcium and fibre and encourage healthy breast milk production! You can also swap out the greek yoghurt with coconut or lactose-free yoghurt to suit your dietary requirements.
IngredientsÂ
50g (2 oz) of greek yoghurtÂ
1 handful of spinachÂ
1 handful of mangos, fresh or frozen, diced
1 cup (100ml) of orange juice
1 spoon of chia seeds
Method
- Add all of your ingredients to a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes or until completely combined.Â
