These cookies are super easy to make and nut free so great for the lunchbox. They are naturally sweet and a little bit chewy - your little one will be sure to love.Â
Makes: 20 cookiesÂ
Ingredients:
1 large banana, choppedÂ
5 large Medjool dates, pitted and choppedÂ
90g ( ½ cup) desiccated coconutÂ
90g ( ½ cup) sesame seeds
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 135°C (275°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until smooth.Â
- Wet your hands and form the mixture into balls, using about a tablespoon-sized amount for each cookie. Place each ball on the baking tray and press each ball into a cookie shape using your palm.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until lightly golden and dry to touch. Let cool before serving.
For baby 9m+
Offer as an occasional snack between meals.Â
