This month was very exciting for me, because I launched my first recipe book! Baby and Family: Cook for Family, Adapt for Baby provides a guide for mums who are weaning their babies, tips on dealing with fussy or picky eaters and recipes geared towards raising happy and healthy children with positive eating habits.
Tuesday 13th March: Launch at the National Maternity Hospital
Firstly, it was an honour to meet with Master Dr. Rhona Mahony at the National Maternity Hospital. It was an absolute privilege to have her write a lovely quote for my book, and I am so proud that 10% of all the proceeds will benefit the incredible NMH Foundation and the exceptional work they do. As the first female master of the National Maternity Hospital, Rhona Mahony has helped countless mums from across the country, so it means the world to me to have her support. She was so kind to take a minute from her hugely busy schedule to chat about the book, and to sample some treats from it!

Wednesday 14th March: The Official Launch
The official launch was the following day, at the gorgeously colourful Urchin cafe. It was wonderful to see some faces from the Irish blogging community present and I was so excited to finally chat with the writers I admire so much. I demonstrated how to make one of the recipes from my book, freshly-made kale pesto, which was a hit!
