This Parsnip and Pear Puree is a naturally sweet treat brimming with vitamins your weaning baby will love. Perfect as a first food for tinier tots, or offered as a dip with finger foods such as Biscotti for a baby led weaning treat for your little one to enjoy.

Ingredients
1 parsnip, peeled and chopped
1 pear, peeled and chopped
Method
- Add the chopped parsnip and pear to a steamer and cook for 10-15 minutes until tender.
- Blend or mash, adding cooking water, if needed, to desired consistency.
Weaning and Storage
4-6 months – Blended Runny Puree
6-7 months - Smooth and slightly thicker puree, no lumps
7-8 months - Thicker puree with increased texture
8-9 months - Minced and mashed with soft lumps.
9-12 months – Minced and finely chopped.
