Chicken Drumstick Bone - Food Teether

Chicken Drumstick Bone - Food Teether

A chicken drumstick bone works as a good food teether especially for younger babies when the chicken is removed and it is a low risk of way of for baby to build their oral motor skills. When your baby is able to manage texture serve a whole drumstick with the skin and any loose cartilage, pin bones, and fat removed.

Makes: 1 Food teether

Ingredients

1 Whole Roast Chicken

Method

  1. Roast your chicken in the usual way. Hold back on seasoning the drumsticks so that you can offer to baby.
  2. Carve the chicken into parts. Remove the skin from the drumstick and the knuckle.
  3. Offer as it is or remove all of the meat and offer as a food teeter to baby.
